Cebu Contract Grower’s Meet
The annual meeting for Cebu contract growers was held last December 3, 2010 in Alpa City Suites, located in Hernan Cortes st. corner, Cabahug St., Mandaue City, Cebu. It was participated by 47 attendees including farm owners, managers and flock men.
The said event was preceded by Mr. Raymund Sande (BAVI trade marketing specialist), followed by a welcome address from Mr. Jerome Cinco (AVP for Visayas operation). After which, Dr. Erasmus Paderes (AVP for Animal Health and Technical Services, National Contract Growing Head) presented a review regarding Cebu CG Performance for 2010. An update pertaining to flock uniformity and harvest week depletion was discussed by Dr. Audry Rose Gabonada (Epidemiologist- Visayas Operation).
An open forum was done after the top grower awarding ceremony lead by Dr. Shiela Billena (Cebu CG Supervisor). The program was ended with a talk by Mr. Jose Chanyungco (AVP for Finance).
It was sponsored by Compania JM Mendoza represented by Dr. Andy Tuazon (Technical Manager).

Lea Salonga…Your Songs
After over 3 decades of wonderful music and a fulfilling career, our country’s pride Lea Salonga wanted to express her thanks and give something back to her fans, thus LEA SALONGA…YOUR SONGS was conceived.
This special concert was held December 2009 at the Philippine International Convention Center and was dedicated to the wonderful people who have supported her throughout her career.
With the concert’s success and due to insistent public demand, Sony Music, Ambient Media, Bounty Fresh-Asia’s Best and The Peninsula Manila brings the music and the magic right through your own music and DVD players with the release of the audio/video recordings of LEA SALONGA…YOUR SONGS.

Under the musical direction of Gerard Salonga and the most in-demand orchestra in the Philippines, FILharmoniKA, Lea performed a repertoire chosen exclusively by her fans.
Tracks include modern hits such as Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face”, Beyonce’s “Halo” and Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab”; power ballads like “Making Love Out Of Nothing At All” and “Open Arms”, OPM love songs such as “Kahit Isang Saglit” and “Sana Maulit Muli”; musical theatre numbers from Les Miserables and Wicked and many more.
“It is probably the most diverse repertoire I’ve ever sung through, and because of that, it was also the most fun,” Lea said.
She was joined by comedy concert queen Ms. Ai Ai De Las Alas, Pinoy rock icon Jett Pangan, premier balladeer Richard Poon and the award-winning dance group the Philippine All Stars.
This CD/DVD will make one reminisce or witness Lea’s musicality and versatility as a world-class performer if one missed the concert.
“Your Songs” is now out at leading record stores nationwide under Sony Music and is presented in cooperation with Bounty Fresh-Asia’s Best Chicken and The Peninsula Manila.
