BAVI's Marketing Group Head, Kathlene Gomez, receives Mansmith YMMA Award for 2015

February 17, 2015, Makati City - The Mansmith Young Market Masters Awards (Mansmith YMMA) recognizes the 10th Mansmith YMMA Awardees of 2015 in the Intercontinental Hotel, Makati City last February 17, 2015. Attended by the 12 awardees, their colleagues, families and friends, along with past awardees, the event was inspiring to its attendees as it was monumental to the awardees.


Ms. Kathlene S. Gomez, is currently Bounty Agro Ventures  Inc.'s Marketing Group Manager. She's the youngest of the 12 awardees, besting other candidates despite only being 28 years old. Having worked her way from Assistant Brand Manager, to being the head of the Marketing team, Kathlene is responsible for increasing the top of mind awareness for Bounty Fresh chicken brand and owning the lower SEC category by launching Chooksie's, the economy dressed chicken available in Chooks-to-Go.

During her acceptance speech, she stated that growing up, she's had to overcome a lot of difficulties. She stated, "Our family did not have a lot when I was growing up, so at an early age, I taught myself that for every opportunity that life would present to me, I could not just do good at it - I had to overcome and excel. I was going to take my seat at the high table. So when Mr. Ronald Mascariñas, our President, gave me the privilege to head the Marketing Group of Bounty Agro Ventures, I made sure to give everything I have to deliver beyond expectations."

Kathlene heads a team of 25 individuals, all deployed across the Philippine archipelago, as BAVI operations extend nationwide. She sets the direction for the marketing team and the trade marketing team, in its execution of the company's vision for 2015. Her hope is that this award seeks to inspire all other members of her team, and other young marketing leaders out there, to aspire to be great at what they do.

The Mansmith Young Market Masters Awards (Mansmith YMMA) is an advocacy of Mansmith And Fielders, Inc. It aims to inspire young men and women by recognizing excellent Filipino marketers, sales managers, and entrepreneurs, whose achievements inspire and encourage young people to be innovative entrepreneurs and outstanding brand builders.
