Continuing its drive to further increase awareness towards prevention of rabies, Bounty Fresh Food, Inc. (BFFI), through its Contract Breeder Farms Group, recently conducted its annual free anti-rabies vaccination in four barangays in Bukidnon and Misamis Oriental in Mindanao.
Spearheaded by Atty. Kenneth Cheng, the Group’s anti-rabies drive benefited almost 500 dogs in two barangays in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon and two others in El Salvador, Misamis Oriental.

“The group launched this drive in 2003 in support to the Department of Health’s campaign to prevent spread of rabies in the community. It should be stressed to the public that rabies can be prevented through vaccination of their pets,” said Cheng, who is also managing director of BFFI.
Bounty Fresh’s free anti-rabies vaccination is also part of the company’s corporate social responsibility program in communities where the business operates.
Other officers involved in the recent leg were Arnolfo Alcaraz, VP for Broiler Operations; Dr. Ronan Mamacus, AVP for OED; Dr. Ronald dela Cruz, Manager for Luzon Breeder Operations; Dr. Mark Anthony Gabriel, Production Manager Contract Breeder Farm; and Dalmacio Nulod, Budget and Systems Manager.
