Bounty Fresh Chicken has cemented anew its stature in the fresh chicken industry after it was voted by consumers as one of the Trusted Brands for 2017 in Reader’s Digest’s annual consumer survey.

Bounty Fresh received the Gold Award, which is “given to brands that scored significantly higher than their rivals.”

The award was based on a poll commissioned by Reader’s Digest. The survey aimed to identify the brands most trusted by Filipino consumers. Winners are determined by six attributes—trustworthiness and credibility, quality, value, understanding of customer needs, innovation, and corporate social responsibility.

“Being a consumer brand, we put a prime in the quality of our products, and consumer trust is very important to us. Trust is at the core of our business,” according to Kathlene Gomez, Assistant Vice President for Marketing of Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc., the company which co-manages Bounty Fresh with Bounty Fresh Food, Inc. “With this award, consumers can expect that we will further push boundaries and set higher benchmark.”

Prior to this award, Bounty Fresh Chicken was dubbed as Asia’s Best after scooping the Asian Livestock Industry Award for Best Poultry and Livestock Company in 2009, the first in the country to achieve the prestigious recognition. This feat served as a big boost to the country’s poultry industry as Bounty Fresh bested other Asian countries, including major poultry-producing countries India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Recently, underscoring its commitment to providing best quality products to its consumers, Bounty Fresh launched the “Laking Farmfresh” campaign. This boosts of “Laking Farmfresh” chickens that are raised in “malinis, maluwag, and maaliwalas” farms and plants that meet the highest standards of food quality and safety.

The Trusted Brands Award was first launched in Asia in 1999. Since then, it has built a solid reputation as the “premier consumer-based survey in Asia, providing an objective and reliable reference for consumers throughout the region” as this was based on the opinions of ordinary consumers.

Bounty Fresh Chicken is also used by quality retail brands Chooks-to-Go, Uling Roasters, and Reyal Litson Manok.
